Howie will speak with the press about his food justice and sustainable agriculture platform. Food justice advocates including the founder of the Brooklyn Food Coalition will talk about food justice issues in Brooklyn and beyond. Campaign supporters and volunteers will be tabling and Howie will meet and greet the shoppers and farmers in the market. Around 1 Howie and supporters will visit the East New York farmers market at 613 New Lots Avenue off the 3 train.
